i am a quiet girl, with a heart and a soul. i believe in my jesus and run with wildflowers in my hair. random acts of kindness, bare feet, dresses, and jasmine blossom green tea. i love open windows and animals. i am a silly girl and an old soul.

“My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to find peace with exactly who and what I am. To take pride in my thoughts, my appearance, my talents, my flaws and to stop this incessant worrying that I can’t be loved as I am. // There is not one big cosmic meaning for all, there is only the meaning we each give to our life, an individual meaning, an individual plot, like an individual novel, a book for each person.” (Anais Nin)

the world is a car crash, devastated and ruined but i can't look away
when the road starts looking like this, that’s where i’ll stop. i’m going, going, going until i’m miles away.

she’ll be your rock and roll girl, just don’t ask about the dress. she’ll be your lover and your friend, just don’t say princess.

curiosity always got the best of her when she was a little girl. she was brave and daring - and into everything. why was on her lips in the same way that everyone has hello. she wanted to know the workings of everything - of people, things and places. she was ever scribbling in a small marbled notebook her findings and compositions. she wanted to know and do everything.
this worried her parents to know end for they knew they’d have trouble with her when she was older. they watched her exploring and sighed, hoping that this was a childhood phase and she wouldn’t find exploring and doing so interesting for long.
but for her life was exploring and she wanted to pursue everything - to be free and wander ‘round at her hearts content.

we sat by the lake and talked for what felt like hours. joggers smiled as they ran past us, couples looked at us and then smiled googly-eyed at their spouse. you fidgeted and play with your baggie shorts or spun your fingers in my hair. the hair on the back of my neck itched - you could usually sit so calm and still. worriedly i tugged at your shorts and made my eyes into pleading orbs, begging to know your heart, wanting so badly for you to unfold into me.
as the sun started to set and the lake reflected the pinks and oranges in its glassy surface you got quiet and still. your fingers stopped twitching, and i leaned my head against your chest; your heart was beating quickly, but calmer than it was. slowly, you slid your hand into my and unwound your energy into the spaces between my fingers, connecting our to energies, interlocking our destiny.

I’m only 5’2” and I hate that—people tend to belittle me and make me feel like I’m “so cute” and “so small” x_X I’d love to be tall!

i kinda wish i were 5’2”… but then again, some of my friends and co-workers are all around 5’2” and i don’t think i could do it. to all my short friends (who dislike being short i always say:

“you’re not short! you’re fun-sized” :p)

give me your questions, thoughts. :)

How tall are you?

wha? random question, haha. but um, i’m 6’0. i know. freakish-ly tall. i love it and hate it at the same time.
